A Total Fire Ban symbol appears in the affected NSW Fire Areas when a Total Fire Ban is declared for today. To find out if a Total Fire Ban is declared for tomorrow, select the NSW Fire Area you want to check after Fire Danger Ratings are issued in the afternoon. A symbol will appear in the table on the right hand side of the map if a Total Fire Ban has been declared.
To check what local government areas are affected, either select the area on the map itself or on the name of the NSW Fire Area beneath the map. A list of the local government areas will appear to the right of the map. You can also check the NSW Fire Area you are in on the NSW Fire Area Map.
