Media contacts and spokespeople

The RFS State Duty Media Officer is your first point of contact for information on statewide incidents, events or issues.

To contact the RFS State Duty Media Officer, please call (02) 9898 1855 during business hours or for major incidents outside of business hours.

During periods of increased activity or after hours, this number is diverted to a pager service. Please leave a message including your name, organisation, contact details and the nature of your enquiry (such as the incident you are enquiring about). We will then return your call.

During business hours or for non-urgent enquiries, media can also email media@rfs.nsw.gov.au.

Media requiring assistance on local issues or incidents can contact their local RFS District Office.

The RFS has a variety of spokespeople and other experts available to discuss incidents, issues and events.
