A State Memorial will be held for those affected by the recent NSW bush fires.

The details of the State Memorial are:
- Sunday 23 February 2020
- Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney Olympic Park
- Gates open at 10:30am
- Guests should be seated by 11:20am
- The Service commences at 11:30am
There are no tickets for this event. You do not need to register.
Dress Code for NSW RFS members
NSW RFS members are requested to wear:
- Tunic with full medals
- Service dress (Shirt, tie, medals)
- Clean PPC (Yellows with medals)
Other agency personnel are requested to wear uniform in accordance with agency protocols.
There are restrictions which apply at the venue.
- No backpacks
- No bags larger than 30cm x 30cm
- No metal or glass drink bottles
There will be screening in place for all attendees on the day.
Transport and Travel Arrangements
You're encouraged to use public transport to get the event.
Free public transport is available to emergency services personnel wearing uniform to and from Sydney Olympic Park. Express trains will operate from Central to Olympic Park.
Free public transport applies to:
- Sydney Train services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney Metro services
- Regular bus services
- Sydney Ferries
- Sydney Light rail services

Parking is available at the P1 parking station. Parking rates apply.
If you are travelling by private bus, such as as a brigade or district, bus parking is available nearby in the bus parking area off Old Hill Road. Service vehicles can also park in the bus parking area.
