Bush Fire Bulletin Online
The Bush Fire Bulletin is the official journal of the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) and has been in circulation for more than 60 years. The first issue was published on 1 September 1952.
This well-loved printed publication reports on the activities of the NSW RFS volunteers and staff around the state including fire activity, new technology, research and advances in firefighting and prevention, community engagement, and station openings.
The Bush Fire Bulletin showcases the achievements, heroism and everyday goodwill of the NSW RFS, the largest volunteer firefighting agency in the world.
In conjunction with the National Library of Australia, all editions of the Bush Fire Bulletin are available online and fully searchable on Trove, making this huge historical archive easily accessible.
