Mt Bedford Hazard Reduction Monday 4 April 2016

Summary

The will be a Hazard Reduction burn taking place at Mount Bedford  on Monday 4 April 2016 (weather dependent) by NPWS.

This notification is for a re-scheduled event. The burn was originally scheduled to take place last week, however, the operation was postponed due to an unfavourable weather forecast.

Please be advised that on behalf of the Blue Mountains Bush Fire Management Committee crews from the National Parks and Wildlife Service intend undertaking hazard reduction operations, weather permitting, at the following location:

Location           Blue Mountains National Park, south of the Ingar Trial.
                          5 km SE of Wentworth Falls, Bullaburra, and 4km south of Lawson, Hazelbrook & 
                          Woodford.
Size                   700 hectares
Lead Agency   National Parks and Wildlife Service
Duration           1 day followed by patrol
Closure            Ingar Trail
                          Ingar Day use camping area
                          Andersons Fire Trail (between Murphies access road and Kings Tablelands Road)
