A bush fire is burning in the Rouchel area and has been contained. The fire is burning north east of Rouchel village. The fire has burnt more than 140 hectares.

There is a bush fire burning in the Goulburn River National Park in the Merriwa River valley area. The fire is currently more than 4280 hectares in size and is being controlled.
