Blue Mountains Bush Fire Danger Period starts September 1st

Summary

Due to the dry conditions and predicted forecast for the coming months the Local Bush Fire Danger Period for the Blue Mountains has been brought forward to 01 September 2018 until 31 March 2019.

During the period permits will be required for the lighting a fire in the open. Permits can be obtained from the NSW RFS Katoomba Fire Control Centre or NSW Fire + Rescue.
