Planning for Animals in Emergencies Seminar in Springwood


For assistance preparing for an emergency we are running a Planning for Animals in Emergencies Seminar in Springwood, on October 6, at the Springwood Sports Club.

The challenging weather conditions and severe fire danger yesterday is a reminder of the need for people to make plans for all their family, including the in their care, well before an emergency occurs.

Speakers on the day will include representatives from RFS, SES, DPI & Red Cross; Dr Robert Johnson, South Penrith Vet Clinic; Greg Keightley, WIRES; Caroline Outred, VN, Richmond TAFE; Dr Christine Smith, Agnes Banks Equine Clinic; and Misty Stebbing, Equine Disaster Coordinator during the 2013 bushifres in the Blue Mountains.

Entry will be by gold coin donation
Come for the day, or drop in for individual sessions.
Morning tea will be provided. Lunch can be purchased at the club.
