Minister for Justice Michael Keenan and New South Wales Deputy Premier and Minister for Justice and Police Troy Grant today announced $2.59 million for 43 new projects to address bush fire risks throughout NSW.

Rural firefighters will be supported by fire behaviour specialists and weather balloons, as well as additional crews tasked with mid-week hazard reduction, to help better protect communities from the risk of bushfire.
