NSW RFS declares early start of Bush Fire Danger Period in the Blue Mountains
The Blue Mountains Local Government Area will start the Bush Fire Danger Period (BFDP) a month early this year due to ongoing warm and dry conditions. The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is urging residents to prepare now for what could be a long and protracted fire season.
