A grass fire burning in area of Mimosa 18km south west of Temora burnt more than 2900ha and is under control.
Current Situation
- The fire burning in the vicinity of Mimosa, south of Ingalba Nature Reserve and north of Mimosa Station Road, 18km south west of Temora has been contained.
- Crews worked hard to hold the fire along the Goldfields Way and fire activity has reduced over the last hour.
- Firefighters will remain on the fireground over the coming hours as they strengthen containment lines and mop up and black out.
Crews will continue to patrol the fireground over coming days.
This will be the final update for this fire.

- People in the Mimosa and Sebastopol may notice small pockets of bushland continue to burn within containment lines over coming days and weeks.
- Firefighters will continue to patrol the fireground over coming days and monitor for hotspots. Only report unattended fires to Triple Zero (000).

- The Coolamon Road is closed however The Goldfieds Way is now open.
