Current Situation

• The fire burning in the vicinity of Mimosa, south of Ingalba Nature Reserve and north of Mimosa Station Road, 18km south west of Temora has been contained.
• Crews worked hard to hold the fire along the Goldfields Way and fire activity has reduced over the last hour.
• Firefighters will remain on the fireground over the coming hours as they strengthen containment lines and mop up and black out.

• Crews will continue to patrol the fireground over coming days.

• This will be the final update for this fire.

What you need to do

• People in the Mimosa and Sebastopol may notice small pockets of bushland continue to burn within containment lines over coming days and weeks.
• Firefighters will continue to patrol the fireground over coming days and monitor for hotspots. Only report unattended fires to Triple Zero (000).

Road Closures

• The Coolamon Road is closed however The Goldfieds Way is now open.

• Roads may be closed without warning.
• Watch out for emergency services personnel and follow their directions.
