Today 14 students from Davidson High School in the Warringah Pittwater area graduated with flying colours from the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) Secondary School Cadet Program.

More than 1,600 NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) volunteer firefighters were kept busy with 38 bush and grass fires across NSW last weekend.They were joined by crews from Fire and Rescue NSW, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Sydney Catchment Authority along with other Emergency Services agencies.

A new state of the art fire truck was delivered to a brigade in the Wentworth area this weekend, while 160 longstanding NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) volunteers were awarded with Long Service Medals.
