Remote Area Firefighting Teams packed light but were well prepared for a weekend of skill building.

Remote Area Firefighting Teams were tested when they were picked up by a helicopter and left at a remote property where they completed several tasks, such as clearing ground for a helipad, and camped for the night just as they would if tasked to a real fire.

The structure fire scenario required crews to ventilate a burning structure.
