Greens Road, Warrimoo Bush Fire 15-11-2014

Firefighters have contained a bush fire in the Warrimoo area that burnt 130 hectares.

Current Situation

The Greens Rd, Warrimoo fire is now contained. Favourable weather conditions over the coming days will allow crews to mop up the fire.

The fire started on Friday afternoon, to the west of the Great Western Highway. Since then, NSW RFS, NPWS and FRNSW have been working to contain the fire with the support of water bombing helicopters.

Residents in the area will continue to see crews in the area over the coming days, along with water bombing helicopters, as they work to mop up the fire. There is no threat to properties.
