Summary
The inaugural Blue Mountains Community Engagement Conference 2017 was held over the weekend of July 22nd and 23rd. We have a great turn out and would like to thank the RFSA for donating beanies.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the Inaugural Blue Mountains Community Engagement Conference over the weekend, you made this event an enjoyable and successful event.
We would like to thank the presenters, Superintendent David Jones, Manager Community Engagement at Head Office Anthony Bradstreet, Kris Newton Manager Mountains Community Resource Network (MCRN), Operational Officer Leanne Bell from Hunter Valley FCC, Andrew Mann from Faulconbridge Brigade and Toastm...asters, who also provided a lucky door prize of 6 months membership to Toastermasters which was won by Anne Brell, congratulations Anne.
Our workshop facilitators did a great job, a big thank you to Ken Wade-Ferrell from Winmalee RFB, Peter Randall from Warrimoo RFB and Mike McCann from Wentworth Falls RFB and also to the the workshop helpers Carmel Gammal, Mina Howard and Sue Beevers.
A big thank you to our MC for the weekend Deputy Group Captain Greg Frullani, he did a wonderful job.
A VERY VERY big THANK YOU to Michelle & Faith from Sugar Plum Catering for the fantastic food over weekend.
Also to the RFSA for donating the beanies to keep our heads nice a warm.
