Summary
Please be advised that WaterNSW is proposing to conduct a Hazard Reduction Burn at Cascade Dam in the Katoomba Special Area. commencing Tuesday 8th September 2020. The duration burn is expected to take 2 days.
The burn is approximately 7 hectares with crews from RFS Catchment Mitigation and WaterNSW in attendance.
The duration of the Burn will be weather dependant.
Please be aware that smoke from the burns may drift over to adjoining areas.
