Summary
The bush fire danger period has commenced in the Canobolas Zone.
Permits: Are available from Brigade Authorised Permit Officers or through the FCC if there are none in your Brigade or the Permit Officer needs a permit etc.
Permits will not normally be issued for fires that will burn for longer than 12 hours or so such as windrow timber or large piles of fallen trees etc.
Permits can not be written or issued for Burning on a Sunday or a Public Holiday unless authorised by the District Duty Officer.
Permit Holders Must provide "at least" 24hours notice of their intention to burn to all adjoining neighbours and contact the Canobolas Office to register their permit.
Please remember to check the RFS site for Total Fire Ban's in your area as you cannot burn on those days!
