A team of 10 firefighters from the Canobolas Zone have been arranged for deployment to Adelaide to relieve NSW RFS Region West Strike Team already on the ground assisting the CFS with fires in the Adelaide Hills.

This team of 10 will fly out tomorrow, Tuesday 6 January and start work on Wednesday 7 January for 3 shifts to strengthen local resources for predicted severe fire weather conditions mid week.

Further crews are now being sought for transport on Friday for a further 3 shift deployment, potentially replacing the team being sent tomorrow.
