Cattle dead after b-double truck rollover

Both lanes on the Olympic Highway were closed at Bendick Murrell yesterday after a b-double truck transporting cattle rolled over.
The driver of the truck escaped serious injury, however a number of cattle were killed in the accident.
Police, council workers, council ranger and RFS members were all on site.
The road was closed for several hours with northbound motorists wanting to travel from Young to Cowra diverted via Henry Lawson Way through Grenfell and then onto the Mid Western Highway.
Southbound motorists travelling from Cowra to Young were diverted onto the Mid Western Highway to Grenfell and then onto Henry Lawson Way.
