Operations area of the Canobolas Zone Upgraded

Summary

Last week in the FCC has been a very busy one indeed.

Two Command Control and Communications CCC courses have been held.

Last weekend and this weekend we have seen Group Captains and senior brigade officers undertake the course.

It has certainly been an eye opener to some of the members.

During the week staff and volunteers also undertook the course.

The course shows how and what occurs in a large fire situation.

Another exciting addition occurred to the operations area of the Canobolas Zone.

Five additional monitors and 2 large touch screens have been installed.

These will assist in the monitoring of fires, weather and all associated fire management. You can see the new layout below.
