Joe Brown AFSM was last night elected as President of the Barry Hobby's Yards brigade for his 70th consecutive year at their AGM.
This is a significant achievement and Joe has provided an enormous contribution to his local community.
He is still an active member of the brigade and uses his experience to mentor the younger members.
Joe was originally President of the Hobby's Yards brigade and then continued his role for the Barry Hobby's Yards brigade when they amalgamated during the 1990's.
He has served as Brigade Captain during his time with the Brigade as well as being President and also served as the honorary FCO for Blayney Shire during the 1980's.
A great record of contribution and Joe is to be congratulated for 70 continuous years as President.
