Challenge accepted

Summary

NSW Police have set the 'Stuff Your Chopper' Challenge again this year to Emergency Service Agencies and we've all accepted this great Challenge for Charity ini...tiative.

Challenge accepted Canobolas LAC - NSW Police Force!

To support this great initiative you can drop off donated items to charity at the Canobolas Fire Control Centre in Orange.

Plus our choppers are bigger than yours.

NSW Rural Fire Service proudly won last year's Challenge, with members raising just under 13 tonnes of the 17 tonnes collected for Foodbank NSW/ACT and that amounted to approximately 30,000 meals or 7,500 families supported last year.

Our colleagues are out to beat us this year so let's show them what the NSW RFS can do when it comes to helping some of our most needy in the community. Stuff Your Chopper, we might have to end up Stuffing Thor & Nancy Bird if last year's efforts are any indication of what we're capable of.

Congratulations NSW Police on a great initiative and to all our Emergency Service colleagues for taking up the challenge. We work shoulder to shoulder throughout the year serving and protecting the community of NSW so it's no surprise to see us all coming together to help Foodbank NSW/ACT and the community again this Christmas.
