Meet "Boomer"

Summary
Today saw the launch of our first of four Large Air Tankers (LATs). This particular aircraft, an RJ85 has been named 'Boomer'.
We also today launched the start ...of the Bush Fire Danger Period (BFDP) for a further 60 areas across NSW. This video is an overview of today's events, including a quick chat with the Captain of 'Boomer', Carl Schuetze.
Minister Troy Grant has announced a record four Large Air Tankers here for the 2018/19 bush fire season. This RJ85 ‘Boomer’ is available for service as a further 60 areas begin the bush fire period tomorrow.
