Summary
It might be a wee bit chilly, but it is dry enough to burn!!
Today the brigade was called to a grass fire which resulted from an escaped pile burn. Approximately 10 acres of pasture was burnt as well as several pile burns... extinguished. Spring Hill, Lucknow and Byng brigades assisted with the fire.
A reminder that even though it is winter time and usually safe to carry out burning, currently the conditions are very dry.
