North Bangaroo Cat 2A station opened

Summary
The new North Bangaroo Cat 2A station was opened today. It is the first station for the brigade.
In the past the tankers have been housed on private property. This station offers the brigade facilities such as a storeroom, kitchenette and toilet.
In attendance were around 40 brigade members and their families. Representing the Minister was MLC Mr Sam Farraway, RFS Assistant Commisioner Peter McKecknie, Cabonne Shire Councillor Peter Batten, Cabonne General Manager Brad Byrnes, Canobolas Zone Inspector Brett Bowden and Administration Officer Jen Bucknell.
Brigade Captain Wayne Hughes accepted the keys and plaque for the new station.
Retired Group Captain Bruce Noble was awarded a life membership from the Eulimore and Mt Pleasant Brigades.
