Commissioner Fitzsimmons wrote today we recognise the young volunteers making a difference during National Volunteer Week. Congratulations to our award recipients at today's Young People in E...mergency Services Awards, presented by Minister for Emergency Services Troy Grant at Parliament House.

Well done to NSW RFS Cadet of the Year Anthony Coan, former student of the Carenne School, Bathurst, NSW RFS Young Volunteer of the Year Jack McQuellin (12-15 years) from Riverina Highlands Cadet Brigade and Ash Morrow (16-25 years) from North West Orange Brigade.

Congratulations also to NSW SES Cadet of the Year Holly Hughes, NSW SES Young Volunteer of the Year Ally Steen and NSW SES Andy Roberts Memorial Cadet Award Winner, Rachella Biviano.

The awards recognise the achievements of young cadets and volunteers in the NSW Emergency Services.
