Summary
Rotary Youth Leadership Group (RYLG) attended the Fire Control Centre to get a hands on feel for how the NSW RFS Works.
This group will be part of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference which is happening next week at CSU, Orange. The participants are aged between 18 and 28 years and come from all over the western district.
The session that they are involved with is called "Service Above Self".
Fire Mitigation Officer Geoff Selwood made this comment to their supervisor "Thank you for bringing in such a lovely group of young people – they were a delight – engaged, polite and interested in all that they were shown here at Canobolas FCC this morning".
