Get Ready Day - 16 November 2019

Summary
We've seen over the last few weeks the devastating impact that bush fires can have, and the incredible teamwork of firefighters and the community working together to protect what's important.
We've also seen the importance of planning and preparation - like getting your property ready for bush fires, and having a bush fire survival plan.
This weekend, some of our brigades will be throwing open their doors to chat, help you make a plan and understand your local risk.
We're holding a Get Ready Day, from 10am to 12pm this Saturday, 16 November.
Please note that not all brigades will be taking part. Some are simply too busy dealing with fires, whether it's locally or elsewhere in NSW.
If you can't attend, or there isn't an event near you, you can still get ready by making your plan at www.myfireplan.com.au
