Traditionally, sniffer dogs are used to track down criminals, find drugs or locate rabbits....until now.
In the Cooma/Monara area a clever detection dog named Oscar is helping to ensure hazard reductions are done safely, by locating koalas in the area.
We report on Oscar the koala detection dog in the Bush Fire Bulletin Volume 34 No 2.
