Sharing NSW RFS expertise at AFAC 2014

Fifty NSW RFS members have attended the AFAC and Bushfire & Natural Hazards CRC annual conference in Wellington, New Zealand.
The conference is a key event for fire and emergency services from around Australia, the Pacific and beyond.
Thanks to the generous support of the Rural Fire Service Association, 50 members from across NSW were able to attend the conference and hear a range of speakers from a number of different countries and backgrounds.
NSW RFS members also shared their expertise through presentations on the October 2013 bush fires in NSW, the Household Assessment Tool, and planning and development.
A number of our team also presented posters at the event, which included video content produced especially for the conference. You can see these below.
