Special provisions to protect the employment of volunteers have been enacted due to the current fire situation across NSW. This information was updated on 29 January 2020.

This weekend we will remember the emergency services volunteers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice while protecting their communities.

Starting this fire season, you may see our new 737 Large Air Tanker (LAT) overhead - a firebombing aircraft that will be available to assist us all year-round.
