Summary
"The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is aware of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) announcement of a public inquiry into alleged corrupt payments related to the supply of catering and other products to the NSW RFS.
"The Service has been cooperating with the ICAC on this matter for some time and will continue to do so to the fullest extent possible.
"This matter appears to involve a very small number of NSW RFS personnel and should not detract from the invaluable work done by the vast majority of our volunteers and staff.
"As the matter is currently before the Commission, it would be inappropriate for the NSW RFS to make any further comment at this time."
