A crop and grass fire burning approximately 4 km north west of Oaklands has been contained.
The fire has burnt 1,140 hectares. Those in the area of Oaklands should Monitor Conditions.

There is a bush fire burning in the Goulburn River National Park in the Merriwa River valley area. The fire is currently more than 5270 hectares in size and is being controlled.

A grass and bush fire is burning 5km south of Bulahdelah on both sides of the Pacific Highway, north of Myall River Rd. The fire is being pushed in a south westerly direction under north easterly winds.
The alert level for this fire has been downgraded due to easing conditions.
Check and follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. Leaving early is your safest option.

A grass and bush fire burning south of the Sturt Highway near McGeochs South Road in the area of Borambola has been contained.
The fire burnt through 629ha of land and is now under control.

Due to the increased risk of fire, the Rural Fire Service (RFS) is requesting harvest operators immediately stop and check local weather conditions before deciding whether it is safe to continue harvesting in the following regions:
- Edward River
- Murray River
- Murrumbidgee
- Albury
- Berrigan
- Federation
- Greater Hume
