Funeral held for Cobar firefighter

Summary
A FUNERAL will take place today for Daniel Howard, the firefighter who died while battling the blaze that destroyed Cobar's New Occidental Hotel earlier this month.
Mourners from across NSW are expected to converge on the town for the ceremony, which will be held at Cobar and District Rugby Club from 2pm.
The ceremony will be followed by a procession through Cobar to the cemetery.
NSW Fire and Rescue Commissioner Greg Mullins is among senior officers expected to attend the funeral.
