Summary
The MLVT Group Officers have returned home following two action packed days in Sydney.
After visiting RFS State HQ and Glendenning Warehouse yesterday, they later attended a formal dinner which was generously sponsored by the RFSA.
At the dinner, Supt Ken Neville presented appreciation plaques to the retiring group officers who were present.
This morning, we were back on the road to RAAF Richmond to tour the RFS Airbase, which everyone enjoyed immensely.
We later stopped for a fabulous lunch at the Lithgow Fire Control which was provided by the Hartley Catering Brigade as well as breakfast the day before.
A big thank you to all who supported the tour and made everyone feel so welcome wherever we went... from our Commissioner and other senior officers to the numerous RFS staff, volunteers & contractors at the various sites, and our bus driver who made sure we got to Sydney and back safely.
