Students and Teachers

The Rural Fire Service has compiled a range of student and teacher resources covering pre-school, Primary School (K- Yr 6) and Secondary School (Yr 7 – Yr 12).  

All education programs and associated resources are designed to communicate FireWise and fire safety messages to the community.  These messages cover a wide range of topics including Farm FireWise, preparing the home, stay and defend or leave early, fire escape plan and smoke alarms.

Most documents and resources are available for download. If Teachers require multiple resources, use the Resource Order form.  

Primary and Secondary programs from K – 12 are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they meet the syllabus prepared by the NSW Department of Education and Training.  Education programs and resources produced by the Service also cater for students completing tertiary and community education courses.
