During times of major incident activity, such as during bush and grass fires where there is a threat to the community, updates are posted here.

A bush fire is burning north from the Victorian Border. The fire is currently more than 163,000 hectares and is being controlled.

Advice - Clyde Mountain (Eurobodalla LGA) 22/01/2020 13:14

A bush fire is burning to the south of the Kings Highway in the Clyde Mountain area through to the Deua River Valley. The fire is more than 84,800 hectares in size and is being controlled.

Advice - Badja Forest Road, Countegany (Snowy Monaro, Eurobodalla and Bega Valley LGAs) 22/01/2020 13:11

Bush fires are burning in the Badja Forest Road, Countegany area and the Big Belimba Creek and Bumbo Creek, in the Dampier State Forest. These have merged with the Coondella fire in the Deua National Park. The fire is more than 243,000 hectares in size and is being controlled.

Multiple fires are burning to the north of Adaminaby, in the Bugtown area. This fire has merged with the Doubtful Gap Trail fire and adjoins the Dunns Road fire to the west. The fire is more than 93,600 hectares in size and is being controlled.
