A bush fire is burning in the Rouchel area. The fire is burning north east of Rouchel village and is burning in a south easterly direction towards Caneens Gap Trail.

A bush fire burning in the east of the Goonoo State Conservation area north of the Golden Highway and to the west of Boomley Road has been contained. The fire burnt 1437ha of bush and grass land and is now under control.

There is a bush fire burning in the Goulburn River National Park in the Merriwa River valley area.
The fire is currently more than 3345 hectares in size and is not yet controlled.
If you are in the areas of Merriwa River valley, Sandy Hollow, Giants Creek, Gungal or Worondi Creek Road, monitor conditions and stay up to date in case the situation changes.
