There is a bush fire burning in the Goulburn River National Park in the Merriwa River valley area. The fire is currently more than 4860 hectares in size and is being controlled.

Due to the increased risk of fire, the Rural Fire Service (RFS) is requesting harvest operators immediately stop and check local weather conditions before deciding whether it is safe to continue harvesting in the following regions:
- Edward River
- Murray River
- Murrumbidgee
- Albury
- Berrigan
- Federation
- Greater Hume
Watch and Act: Pacific Hwy Fire, Bulahdelah (Mid Coast LGA) – Prepare now – Myall Creek Rd and Myall River Road 04/12/2025 14:41
A grass and bush fire is burning 5km south of Bulahdelah on both sides of the Pacific Highway, north of Myall River Rd. The fire is being pushed in a south westerly direction under north easterly winds.
Check and follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. Leaving early is your safest option.
Watch and Act: McGeochs South Rd Fire, Borambola (Wagga Wagga LGA) – Prepare now – Borambola 04/12/2025 17:24
A bush fire is burning south of the Sturt Highway near McGeochs South Road in the area of Borambola and is burning in a south easterly direction towards Mates Gully Road.
Those in the Borambola area should Prepare Now.

A crop and grass fire burning approximately 4 km north west of Oaklands has been contained.
The fire has burnt 1,140 hectares. Those in the area of Oaklands should Monitor Conditions.
