Advice: Nimbin Road Fire, Koolewong (Central Coast LGA) - Contained 10/12/2025 16:00

The fire burning in the Koolewong, Phegans Bay and Woy Woy Bay area is now contained.

Fire activity remains minimal, with firefighters mopping up hotspots and patrolling the fireground.

This will be the final update for this fire, however the recovery information below will continue to be updated as relevant.

Advice: Home Hills Rd Fire, Bogee (Lithgow LGA) – Monitor Conditions 10/12/2025 16:03

A bush fire is burning in the Home Hills Road area, approximately 22km south of Rylstone.

Firefighters, supported by aircraft and heavy machinery, worked throughout the day in the Home Hills Road and Marsden Road area and will continue operations this evening and into the night. If you are in these areas, monitor conditions and follow the advice of emergency services personnel on scene.

An easterly influence wind change will come through this evening and will push the fire in a westerly direction through steep and inaccessible terrain towards the Clandulla and Brogan Creek areas.

A bush fire is burning in the Goulburn River National Park, in the locations of Flags Road, Worondi Creek Road, Baerami, Baerami Creek, Widden, Yarrawa and Kerrabee.

The fire has burnt more than 13,759 hectares and is being controlled.

The bush fire burning in the Pacific Highway, Bulahdelah area has been contained.

The fire has burnt more than 5,665 hectares.
